This piece looks great! I really like the purple shades and the light where it peeks into the picture and everything ^_^ It is beautiful and very pleasing to the eye. I bet you are very proud to own such an epic piece LOL Anyway, so there are a few things I think could improve just a tad So like, I love this, but you said there were multiple landscapes I'm viewing- There's water, land (sand), a background, etc. I love the whole tree at the side, but I was thinking maybe if you put more definition in each of the horizons, and around the areas of landscape that you included, like showing where the water meets the shore, and where there is more of a horizon line at the background, I think that that would give it a little extra 'oomph' xD That way, not only are you able to showcase such WONDERFUL talents here, but they are then a bit more defining. I found that this would also be very helpful around the tree's appearance, giving it is on land I presume. So you could give it a little defining line to let us know it's on the land and where the land is and stuff. C: Overall, I'm VERY impressed with this!!! I love it and I think you did an excellent job. *O*
This for me surpassed the feel of photo-manipulation and rather felt like you took an amazing shot and worked over the tinge/hue. Amazing work; it reminds me of the Lonely tree of Tenere ... which was knocke- I guess I should not go on about it. Amazing work with wonderful emotions seeping and adapting to the viewers state of mind. Over all, a good job
I have actually seen something similar once on a somewhat overcast, but sunny winter afternoon a few years back. While the topography was slightly different, those colors are absolutely realistic and nature never ceases to amaze me. I think it turned out just fine.
If you meant by 'could've turned out better' that you should've added more detail, I'm glad you didn't, because it's absolutely right!
